Don Jones

State Representative Don Jones is serving his second term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 95th District, which includes Harrison, Morgan, and Noble counties and portions of Athens, Guernsey, and Belmont counties.

Jones was an agricultural education teacher and FFA advisor at Harrison Central High School for 23 years, and worked with students in grades 7-12. He also works at his family’s farm equipment dealership, D&J Sales & Service Inc.

He has been a certified volunteer fireman and emergency medical technician (EMT) for the last 27 years with the Deersville Community VFD & Emergency Squad. He also served nine years as chairman of the Harrison Soil and Water Conservation District. Don is currently serving as chairman of the South Central Power Foundation board, and has done so since its inception in 2014. Don served 9 years as president of the Harrison County Agricultural Society, where he was on the board for the past 18 years. He was also a member of the Harrison County Farm Bureau board where he has served in various capacities. He previously served on the Ohio FFA Board and is a member of the NRA.

Don and his wife, Amy, live near Freeport and have two daughters. They attend Minksville Church of Christ.
